What is better for balancing tires, the stick-on vs. clip-on? The truck is a daily driver, but it is also my offroad hunting truck on rough roads. So what is better for staying on and for keeping a balance? Thank you for the help.

Stick on. Clamp on are cheap, lazy, ugly, and inaccurate.

Depends on the wheels. If your running steel wheels, then you probably don't care what it looks like therefore you won't care if they are clipons. If your running aluminum wheels then your more likely to care what it looks like and opt for the stickons to keep them looking nice.

Does most tire dealers have stick ons? I thought that would only work with some wheels?

Magnum Balancing Beads are the only way to go!!! I have used them in everything from a 265/75-16 to a 325/65-18 to a 305/50-20. If you need to have a flat repaired, dismount the tire, put the beads in a cup, fix the tire, remount the tire dump the beads back in and walaaa, the tire is balanced

Find a shop that uses the Hunter GSP-9700 machine. Ask them to use the stick on weights. Makes a HUGE difference but the tech needs to be skilled!!
