I'm happy to say I just picked up a 2011 F250 SD/ Lariat / FX4 yesterday and I love it.
Well, less then 24 hours later I installed Nitto 325/60/20's and @ 50 PSI the low tire pressure light is on.

Stock tires call for 65 PSI, but the Nittos (8 ply) max is 50 PSI.

I have a sensor tool to register the sensor, but don't think that will fix a low pressure light.

50 PSI seems pretty high to cause the light, is this normal?

Thanks and great site!

Normal is 65psi front tired and 80psi in the rears. Only way to change the monitors is with an h&s tuner

Ok, @ 60PSI the light went out. I'm going to drop it down to 50 (max for the nittos) and see what happens.

I think it was reading low as a fluke from reading the sensors when the tires were off or not inflated.
We'll see

Thanks

Your Ford dealer can also decrease the tire pressure settings to allow for the lower rated tires.

FYI,
I have dropped it down to 50 PSI and no light.

Thanks
