This is my first Ford. Anyone have a link or tips for engine removal. I would like to remove my engine this winter to install some mods, clean, paint and add some sound proofing to the engine bay. Truck is a '95 CC 4x4 manual trans. Thanks.

Pull the tranny. I take the hood off, pull the radiator and lines. Remove the fan, fuel lines, wiring harness connections, MAP lines, etc and pull the engine. Make room for a 3" downpipe if you don't have one already.

if you live in the rustbelt check the front bodymounts on the radiator core support. Ended up pulling my coresupport for repair due to rust and it made engine removal easier.

I know the mounts on the radiator support need replacement. Was it necessary to remove the fenders to get the rad support out?
