I have a 2003 4x4 that has a constant ticking noise that speeds up and slows down with the truck speed. It dosen't make any difference if it is 4 wheel drive or not, or going around a corner. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
I am leaving for vacation in three weeks 2600 miles round trip. I don't want to break down while on vacation. Please Help.

I would put it on stands and rotate the wheels. see if you can hear or feel anything and you might even see it. I would certainly check my wheel bearings. It sucks big time to lose a wheel bearing on a road trip...trust me on that one!!!

Found the problem! The hub was over greased from the factory.:doh: Cleaned it out and regreased it, the clicking went away.:thumb: Easy fix!
