So I did a cab swap on my 97 f superduty. I put a 96 f250 body on it and it’s running and idling fine but it’s got no throttle response. Everyone says tps sensor but both trucks were running and driving fine. Did I mess up the wiring somewhere? Or is it just a coincidence the sensor went out. How can I diagnose the issue

swap the old pedal back into your truck?

can you hear the IVS close?

can you monitor and confirm the IVS is closing and TPS voltage increases with pedal?

I do not have the old pedal anymore. But I’ll check the voltage
and the IVS position. If it never closes it doesn't matter what the TPS voltage is as the PCM will ignore it and stay at idle.

The ivs is functioning. I found the tps fuse was blown so I switched it and now when you press the pedal it doesn’t rev but the windshield wipers start wiping until you release the pedal. LOL. I’m very confused
