So bear with my because I am a newbie and this is my first post. I recently bought a 2003 F350 crewcab 4x4 with the 6 liter diesel. The truck has a leveling lift on the front. I want to buy the bilstein 5100's but my measurements are not adding up to what I read on bilstein's site. When I entered all my vehicle information this was bilstein's options:

Front: 0"-2.5" Lift #33-187297 14.4"-23.23"
4"-6" Lift #33-185545 16"-26"(I think those are rounded a little)

So as far as the front shocks go I assumed with a leveling lift the 0"-2.5" would be perfect. However when I measure my current static height on the truck it is 22.25". How can that be right. That would mean I would only have 1" of travel before my shock would be fully extended. Then I look at their 4"-6" lift shock and my 22.25" static height falls real nice in their range of 16"-26"

Rear: 0"-1" Lift #24-186025 18"-29.7
2"-4" Lift #24-062466 20"-32"

My static height on the rear is 26.5"

The recommend 0"-1" on the rear is a litter better as I would at least have over 3" of up travel before they would be fully extended. However if you look at the 2"-4" Lift my rear static height will fall right in the middle(which also seems good to me).

Any input would be much appreciated! THANKS

I am going with the 4"-6" on the front and 0"-1" on the rear. Sounds kind of screwy but there is no way I can go with the recommended 0"-2.5" on the front as that would only leave me 1" of travel and the shock would be fully extended
