How to wire up a heater thermostat and element. I tried and it keeps triping the breaker

Never mind looks like the breaker needs to be 30 amp i have 20 amp

Thanks i am trying to get it going on bio kit but every time i turn it on the breaker trips? :dunno:

30 amps?!? wow you sure are pumping a lot of power into that thing....

I thought that if you run a 220v at 110 you get 1/4 the watts. So a 4500 220 would give you 1125 watts at 110 v or about 9-10 amps. And you are popping a 20 amp breaker?!?!

Also if you are really pulling 20+ amps, what size wire are you using? Careful using a big breaker on small wire, that makes fires... don’t ask me know I know :crazy:

I also read that if you use too much power to heat the oil you can burn the oil around the element.

Now I am FAR from an expert here, just trying to clarify what I have read.

you have something wired wrong if your popping a 20 amp breaker.
