Anyone have one of these on their truck? I got one from Summit Racing and it wouldn't work. I've checked the wiring for the most part and Summit is suppose to get a hold of Painless Performance Wiring to sort it out. They sent me a second kit for the module but it didn't help either. Anyway, do any of you have one and how have you wired it up?

I finally got it. I don't get home in time for their tech line hours so Summit worked it out for me. The wiring instructions weren't exactly plain. All in all it works so that's all it matters. I may get their tuning set up that's not suppose to leave evidence behind of programming. It adjust what the computer reads and adapts it to get better performance with out retuning it.

I think it was around $150-175 through Summit. I can't remember exactly because I had a coupon for $20-30, and it covered some of it. I haven't drove the truck but around the yard, but I like it. I set mine for a minute. You can cut the switch off, get out, and hit the door lock. If you want it to go ahead and shut down, just tap the brake pedal. You can set it up to around 5-7 minutes and a one time deal of 55 minutes, why I don't know. I figured it would be a good mod for future upgrades. If you get one hit me up for some pointers, I learned them the hard way.

Why the 55 minute delay option?

We call that the Slurpee mode. OK, let's say it's 105 degrees outside and you decide to stop at 7-11 for a Slurpee on the way home from the grocery store. You get hung up in line behind 17 people buying lotto tickets and scratch-offs. By the the time you make it back to the truck the gallon of milk in the back seat has turned to cottage cheese. That's why we have the 55 minute option. You laugh..... That's what it's like in July in Texas.

Turbo Timer instructions

NT2WN:

Please PM me regarding the instructions. If they are not clear we want to work on that. We go to great lengths to produce clear, easy to follow instructions. When you work with the stuff all day you sometimes overlook the obvious. Editing the instructions is a piece of cake.

I'll get your feedback to the engineer in charge of the Turbo Timer so he can make any needed changes.
