I replaced the Navigation that was in the truck when I bought it. So here is the back story. When I got the truck I think this was put in after the fact by the previous owner. It functions exactly like it should EXCEPT I do not have the navigation CD or the Antenna. I do have the iPod hookup. It is in perfect condition and was in the truck for 1 month after I bought the truck. The reason I think it was an after the fact is that on start up it says Mercury instead of Ford.

I saw one on Ebay exactly like mine for $450 but had the CD so I'll start with $350 shipped.

My truck never had SYNC. I think that was added on 09+ trucks.

It may work with SYNC or it may not I have no idea.

Quick?, can this unit stream audio with blue tooth and can a sirus tuner be added

My assumptions based on research are it does not need maps dvd all the time for navigation, an upgrade in 08 and it has back up camera capability, lastly it retains steering wheel controls on an 05

I do know it requires slight modification to frame or mounting bezel to fit 05.
