i got a 99 f250 powerstroke. fuel pump went out. i put a ppe pump on it and after i bled the fuel system it was running fine for a couple of miles. then it started acting like it was out of fuel. bled the system again and did the same thing again. the ppe pumps put out 15 psi. im thinking i need more than 15 psi right? how many psi does a stock fuel pump put out?

I had a problem similar to that and it was because I wasnt getting good fuel TO the pump. It only takes one tank of crap diesel to clog the screens in the fuel tank. Good luck!
