I just installed my isspro egt gauge last night, I put the probe in the drivers side manifold a couple inches from the end! Through researching the fourms is where its supposed to go. Took it for a drive right after and my truck is stock except for exhaust and 6637 intake. Driving at 100-110km/hr about 60-70mph it reads about 1050 all the time sometimes it drops abit to 950 and sometimes its at 1100! WOT it will hit 1300-1350! Driving at 60km/hr its about 900-1000! Ive never seen it drop below 800 ever during driving except for idle. All this is on flat highways! Is this normal for stock? :ford:

What does it read at idle?

Stock should be hard to hit 1200*. Any boost numbers?

I would check the firewall for signs of leaky up pipes.

That's pretty high. Like said above check your up pipes and manifolds. Also check over you boots on intake side, may be a rip or tear in them somewhere.

I checked the firewall and there no signs of them leaking! Boost is at 18-19 wot some times hits 20psi! At idle it would read 500-600! The weirdest happened this morning though, it seemed to be working fine now! Highway speeds it was at 750-800 and wot throttle it was 1000-1050 max and did this for the whole 30min trip! Idle is now about 350-400! Same boost numbers as before though! It's was really cold this morning, does that change anything! But just as cold as two days ago! Does the egt sensor and the driver box it came with have to learn or something? It's a black box the gauge hooks up to!
I'm stumped? Maybe gauge is messed! :ford:

Cold weather plays a HUGE roll in egt's... several hundred degrees when its really cold out.

dont know. if the egt is working now, forget about it. Probably some weird fluke.
