Have a 2000 f250 plan on getting a tw 6pos chip for it. If i do, would i need a better clutch than stick or go for something from south bend?

your stock clutch wont have any issues with just a chip and supporting mods. I pulled the original clutch out of mine at 120k and 50k of those were chipped and I basically drive it on either my race or extreme settings all the time unless im towing.

I would imagine my wifes 16k horse trailer and hauling hay were harder on it than the chip.

In the end its all in how you drive it.

If you're not towing then you won't have any issues. Stockers will crack and throw a spring with no chip in my experience. Racing or sled pulling Is a different story all together.
