Hello,
I am the sad owner of a 2000 International 4700 flatbed truck, with a 99-00 dt444e engine. When I first joined this site, I explained the lack of knowledge and mechanical skill held by sum of the mechanics here in the Bahamas.
I reached out to Powerstroke for answers. After chatting with members here and asking questions. I had a diagnosis done on my truck, and in revealed that I had to change a couple of injectors. Just last week I purchased and installed two brand new injectors. I was not at all shocked to see that my truck was still smoking.
This is some of the most toxic white smoke ever. I will be checking the turbo seals in the morning. Can anyone else give any ideas what else needs to be check to resolve this problem. I have not driven in 4 months
