I have recently repaced steering box in my truck. When i was done replacement the steering wheel was out of alinment. I had a wheel alinment done and everything was good. 3 weeks later the clock spring has went. Is it possible i didn't aline the steering shaft to steering box right or do clock springs just were out? This is on a 2001 F-350.

Clock spring do go bad. As for the steering wheel being off. You can loosen the 2 bolts on the adjusting sleeve for the drag link. Then turn the adjusting sleeve one way or the other till the steering wheel is in the right position. Then tighten the bolts back up, take it for a drive and see how you did.
