I need some information please. I've got a 2000 truck that I am going to put 2007 wheels on. My question is what exactly needs to be changed on the rear axle to get the correct track width?
From what I can tell the axle housing and the axle shafts are the same. The difference being with the hubs and brakes. So has anyone done this, and exactly what is needed?

No one knows anything about swapping to the new track width and brakes?

IIRC it's about a 2" difference in offset. Just add the correct spacers and you should be good to go. Just don't get the cheep ones.

Or get a complete '08 up axle..larger brakes also.
