Actually that is the way that we do it since the tune request process changes monthly. Customer emails us all of their trucks info so we can verify along with user name and password once they get the Spartan tuner. We then forward the info to Donna so she can set them up with an account on the Spartan website. It would be a lot easier if the tune request process was not always changing...If everyone from Spartan was in the same location they would know how we do the tune request process.That's because the vendor that you purchased it from didn't do what he should have done... You could have already set up everything on the web site if he requested a user name and a password for you the day he sold you the tuner!!!!!!
When he sold you the unit, he should have gotten a user name and a password that you wanted to use. With that info, your name, email address and DashDAQ serial number all he has to do is send it to Spartan, requesting the info for you to log in. Spartan then sends you an email with instructions on what you need to do and process is then completed!!!!!!!!!!!!
