I do in my 14. It takes up a bunch of room. I like to do a tire gate or stand up mount in the frt corner. I don't think I have any pictures of it. I could take some if ya want. I thought about a roof basket but just taking one wheel off and putting back on was pita. Its to dam heavy for me to want to have up there and get it down off the roof.

What i like:
Having a spare
Having storage
Having a bed that will hold a sheet of plywood (full length floor)
Flush with rails tool box

Hate:
Tool boxes on bed rails
not having a spare
not having a bed
not having a tool box

The plan:
Utility box shorter that than 17" truck inside height is 21.4in
Width short to accommodate a spare on the side
Build a rack to get it of the the bed floor to hold the utility box flush with rails and hold the tire.
Put spare on the driver side to not lose any visibility

I have 2019 f250 short bed

Carli is making a hitch for our trucks that will allow for up to a 38” to be mounted in the factory location.
Thanks I follow them and just wish I knew how long I would have to hook on the streets to afford it. Also when they will be up for grabs.

This would be the way to go. Then just make a cradle for a full with utility box.
