I would suggest a mechanical boost fooler like a regulator over the electronic version.

I agree I haven't used the electrical boost fooler, so I can't tell you whether it works well or not, but ITP's works as advertised:thumb: Overboost Annihilator

It is a POS, I had one, and I would never spend a dime with SP again after the lousy customer service I received on two different occasion. (I know, I'm slow)

thanks for the info how much did the regulator cost. I have looked at some that were like 500 dollars which is a little pricey for right now. I will look into the itp though.

dieselsite has a good version that works perfect too..

if you get the itp version don't play with it.
put it in, and know exactly what you do to it as far as changing settings.
it can get out of sync and require resetting....ie read the directions first.
other then that it should be easy.

I had the dieselsite version. I would still set an overboost every now and again.

With the itp is there a way to adjust the amount of boost you want or is it set already.

It does not adjust the boost, it fools the MAP sensor.

To adjust the boost you need a waste gate controller.

I use the hyperpac boost gauge which is factory through the data port. Would i see the actual boost i was making or would i see what the map sensor is seeing. I def want to know my real boost not what the map sees.

You would only see the boost the PCM is seeing, not the actual pressure.
