Its short notice, sorry - actually i posted last Wed. in the SP chat thread thinking yall would see it. Sunday the weather looks like it will be very mild so i'll fire up the grill and we'll have some brats or burgers...I'll provide the meat so any side dishes would be great.
I have a minor wrenchin project to do and if anyone else want to wrench on there trucks this would be a good time for it. Come as early as you want but we'll say 11:00am to start...if you attend church, come later, if you want to do a big wrenchen project that requires more time, come earlier and I'll have the coffee on :thumb:
Russ, Wes and Justin so far...who else is interested? Jesse - theres no OSU football so come on!
PM me for directions if you need them.
A big turnout or not, i'll be there with a hot grill and cold beers so come on.
If Sat. is better for the majority we can do that instead.

I thought it was going to be cold this weekend?!? Weather says 40's tomorrow and it will MAYBE make 50 degrees Sunday. Little to cold for me!

Thats about the worst cop out i ever heard? Do you squat to pee too? :hehe:

Seriously, Sunday is supposed to be no wind, mid 50s and sunny so it will feel quite nice i think. I do have an insulated, heated shop if its cold.

We can still drink beer Russ, i'm just not going to go buy and make a bunch of food though for just 3 people showing up. I uderstand it was short notice and all but "too cold"?? Whatever.
I'm trying to keep get togethers alive and keep this chapter more active and no one wants to get off there couchs.

So sure, come on out, we'll drink some beer and maybe go over to Darrels house - i've been hanging out over there some helping him drink his home brew:thumb:
That is if hes home, he went out of town Thursday for a funeral but i would think hes back by now.
You can help me pull these stacks out to pain the header and reinstall them...won't take long.

Pics - Clay's stacks and header

Well, we had a GTG of two! :doh:
Clay's shop was toasty warm, thanks to his pellet stove. Y'all should have come.

Clay got the stacks reinstalled Saturday evening, and of course we had to take 'em for a test
drive. Sorry, no audio. But they look and sound great! :thumb:

As far as priorities, sure, everyone has their own. And is it really necessary to rub our noses in the fact that you'd rather do something else? If you don't want to show up, don't. But it isn't necessary to post that you won't be coming, because you have more important things to do. Just don't show. No reply is necessary. :thumb:

the get together was actually scheduled for today but Rus came on out yesturday and had a project for us to tinker with in the shop plus taking my stax out to paint and put back in - thanks for the help Russ.
Joe, what other thread were you talking about? I wasn't referinig to you about getting off the couch...i was just being a smart azz in general.

I primarily was hoping to get some of the newer guys out to the house today, some of the guys that hadn't been able to make it before thinking that this is kinda a good time when theres no college footbal, no kids sports really, etc. Though everyone might have more time in Jan that other months. It didn't work out and it was short notice but when your working off the 5 day forcast, short notice is all i can do. If no one cared about the weather, we can set a date for next month and do it...if it turns off cold, we would just fire the heater up in the shop and stay out there...up to yall. I just thought today would be beautifull for a get together where we could be outside or insidee either one and as it turns out, its short sleeve weather here! :woot:

No worries darrel, it was canceled but Russ came on out and we worked on some projects in the shop (drank beer)....you know what i mean.
Come over any time and we'll do the same.

if i need to stay home to do Algebra homework which i FREAKIN hate to ensure i pass a $1200 class to get my BS degree next month, then i guess i will rub your nose in it?

i don't feel the need to explain that, or rub your nose in it. after all 2-14-09 is my graduation date from University of Phoenix with a BS in MGMT. that has taken me 3 very long years to complete is now coming to a close next month.

oh yeah, the truck is puking still from the dealer replacing the EGR cooler last week. so i don't feel to confident to drive there and back just yet without problems..should be going back very soon to get the head gaskets replaced this time, but who knows?
