i finaly got my cat delete pipe an my new down pipe, that was a pain takin that old one off, i thought i could do it with no problem, but it gave me a lil ristince, but i won, the sound is insane , my only complate is it kinda feels like i lost a lil umph, is that normall, i read somewere that it wasnt that good of an idea to change the down pipe on the 6.0 is that true, i mean theres no turnin back now cause i aint tryin to get the old one back up there

I've heard the same thing, that changing the DP on the 6.0 is not the greatest idea unless you really have some Mods planned. But, I ended up with a 4" turbo back, no kitty on my stock 07. I've been debating putting the Cat back in, just to see how it changes things. b/c I'm pretty sure I lost some off the line Umpf. Which can be explained by the fact you have no back pressure and the turbo has not spooled. So off the line you are more or less a NA 6.0. Straight piping the OEM system is not a bad idea for most stockers. But I'm still happy with my Magnaflow... no real reason why.

Installing a aftermarket dp and deleting the cat will cause the torque curve to be a little higher in the rpms that is why it feels like you lost a little off the line. You didn't really lose any power its just the powerband is now higher up in rpms :thumb:

I was in Killeen last weekend, I could have given you a hand. :)
As far as loosing anything I know I didn't and I'm straight piped without the stock downpipe.

either way i love the sound, i couldnt help but just slam on it a few times today, i think i gave some dodges the wrong idea though but its cool
