i have a 99 250 4X4 6spd im wondering what size plow would be best im thinking 7'6" or maybe 8 but the 7'6" are so common just need some help to decide how big i can go if i run acrost a bigger one for cheap
yea im thinking i will most likely end up with a 7 6 because im on a very tight budget here like to stay under $500 for a whole set up i dont care if i have to rig a few things together but i basicly want it for driveways and maybe if i can get enuff people in town i may get a newer one or an 8ft but just for now for personal use etc dont neeeeeed one but i waaaaaannnnnt one (i like to play)
i have a 7'6 on my 02 f250 and imo its kinda small for the truck. the 06 f350 srw has an 8'6 v-blade and its just about perfect parking lots. if your using for personal use stick with a straight blade otherwise get a v-blade.
An 8 foor is the smallest you're going to want on that truck, any smaller and you're going to be rumming over the snow everytime you start to turn. My 8 foot is just wide enough. 9 foot isnt too bad but its a but much for a SRW truck.
A 9 foot plow is actually supposed to be taken off right after a storm, its overwidth for the road since its 108" wide. Legal limit is 102"
