Hello everyone.
Well I'll make a short story long lol. Bought my dream truck 2 years ago. 2005 f250 6.0 4 wheel drive. I'm the 3rd or 4th owner. Had 79,200 miles when I bought er in October 2010. It now has 99,500 miles. I baby this truck with the hopes of longevity, power, and something that looks and rides nice.
Alright.
Problem is every couple months something breaks and cost me $$$$$$. So far it's been radiator, brake calipers,1 injector, transmission housing seal. So what I'm thinking this good driver is paying for the misuse of the other 4 owners. The new problem started a few weeks ago. After a slight acceleration( like passing a car etc..) when I stop shortly after that( red light or stop sign)and go to accelerate from that dead stop it will not move with pedal down for a few seconds then it will move like normal. Now starting two days ago the exhaust stinks(not sweet like coolant) and then today I started from a stop after acceleration and once again barely moved and had massive amounts of black smoke coming out of exhaust. Last about 6 seconds then drove like normal. If anyone out there can give a possible answer I would appreciate it. New member to this sight. To be total honest I work very hard and this truck has been a real let down. Change the oil and fuel filters when I'm suppose to. Check my fluids weekly. Baby it. Don't know what else to do but thinking on trading this thing in before its to late.
