on my 94 f-250 ive noticed my shocks have a lot of rust on them. is it time to replace them? or is the surface rust nothing to worry about? thanks

If they are orginals then replace them for sure. You should be able to tell if they are leaking and shot. Depending on where your located surface rust on the outside isn't the best indicator to tell you if they are bad. Although In my opinion it never hurts to have a good set of shocks like bilstiens:thumb:

there not originals.....there from the lift installed a while ago. i dont see any leaks?

just the ride is a little rough but i know its a truck but didnt know if thats also a sign of wear

No idea on how long those shocks have been on there eh? Can't hurt to put new ones on:thumb:

problem i dont know size to buy. definitly not stock sinc i have a lift.

Hmm yeah those have been on there a few winters! Your looking for shocks with a 4 inch lift. Any shock will work for your lift as long as its sized for your 4 inch:thumb:
