I was tired of looking at my ugly dirty shocks with poor decal placement so I decided to give them a fresh look. I emailed Fabtech asking them for some decals and they instantly had them in the mail to me, I believe I got them the in 1-2 days.

Took a wire brush and got all the old crap off, then decided to wet sand them a little to get a nicely prepped surface to paint on. Ended up doing 4 coats of white and 2 coats of clear, came out pretty good I thought

Looks great man! I have been wanting to paint my white shocks black. What paint did you use?

I used a gloss white "wheel paint" it was Rustoleum brand. Worked well. And the clear was just an average can from wal mart.

I thought about painting them Camo, but I decided not too.

Let us know how they hold up. I have heard painting shocks doesn't last that long. So I am curious...
