OK, I know that I did not buy the best shocks (Rancho 9000XL) just could not pass on the deal. Anyway is it important to install the boots, and if so what is the best way to keep them on? I am having trouble making them stay on with the zip ties, mainly the front stabilizer.

Boots look good but, they hold the dirt and grime in which will rust them quicker.

You shouldn't install the front stabilizer boot, since it won't allow water and road grime to drain properly. The others are also optional, but they do keep the majority of junk off your shock shafts.
