Looking for advice on Shock Absorbers. I bought the truck used in Sep 2006. It is a early 1999 F350 Crew PS 6sp 2wd. Had CarQuest shock absorbers on it. I put Monroe Gas Magnums on it last summer. They seem to be shot already. What have you guys had success with? I was looking at Bilsteins and KYB and Rancho and Monroes again. Let me know what you think. I pull a 28' travel trailer a couple times/year. A 16' flatbed occasionally/ with a Bobcat on it. Rarely haul a load in the bed. :dunno:

IMO you cannot beat the Bilstein 5100's....should be able to pick them up for around $250-280 for all 4...good for MANY miles...look nice and ride great!

I ran the Bilstein 5100s on my 2002 F350 and loved them. They hugged the road that much better and pulling a 28ft toyhauler was nothing.
