My truck seems to sherd a belt about every 2 months or so? I have replaced the alt, and a/c condesor, anything else i can look for, it is an expensive habit for her?

Are all the Idlers and tensior good and roll smooth? Something must be out of line or something has the wrong size grpved pulley maybe, It would be a expensive habit

everything spins nicely, i dont get it. it starts at the edges... i might just have to suck it up and take it to the shop

the tensioner is probably out of line, usually the problem

+1 for the tensioner - same problem I'm having. They spin fine, but they wobble if you grab it and rock it back and forth.

yep lost another one today, whats that cost to have fixed?

If you buy the bearings and fix your self...about 20 bucks. If you take it to a dealer:take vaseline or ky jelly with you (whatever eases the pain!)

hahahaha, ahh. i lost another belt thats 2 for today, nothing looks outa wake. but ahwell i tricked advanced into warrenty replacements..
