I was driving, and was at a stop light. My idle was fluctuating 200-300 rpm. I did notice earlier when I was cleaning my intercooler boots that the plastic part on top of the IPR moves around. Also, whatever it is, is very sensitive because it will be rough, the stop at ramdom times. I am at my grandpas birthday party right now but after I'm driving a half hour in the opposite direction of my house and I would like to have a rough idea in case my truck breaks down. Thanks for any input!

Well its not loose and I haven't had a probelm since last night. I cleaned the ebps and tube today, it was in need of a cleaning pretty bad... Hopefully it had something to do with that. Should I replace the IPR since that plastic connector on it moves around?

Myn moves a little bit too, what i would try is unplugging the ICP which is on top of the drivers side head and see if the idle smoothes out. Also when its unplugged check for oil inside the connector, if theres oil in it then replace the ICP.

I unplugged it last night, but I did it while it was already idling smoothly. I replaced it a week ago with a used one I had on an engine Im parting out, and there is no oil in the "new" icp
