Well, I'm doing the 650 dash mod and I got my dash piece in and now its time to find some switches for it. I really like the Carling switches but the few places that I have looked at are out of stock, like OTRATTW. Does anyone know where I can find these switches?? or know of another kind that I might like just as well?? :dunno:

Those carling switches are whats in a western star for dash switches. If you have a dealer near you it might be worth while to try them. Or even try a truck wrecking yard if you have one of those near you.

I want to install the F650 Dash and I want to use those same switches so thats how im gonna try and find some.

You have any pictures of your F650 dash in? Does the factory cup holder and hook work with the F650 dash?

Well I decided to go through OTRATTW and got the switches I wanted, once they were in stock. :woot: Heres a few pics of everything so far.
This is the painted dash piece.
and the bracket after a little fabrication. :wink[3]:
heres the switches and bracket before any cutting.
and then here is everything put together, its not finished but its close :thumb:
Ive gotta wait until my truck is back from the shop for its head studs then im putting it all in. I'll post a few more pics when everything is done.

Yeah you will actually lose the drivers side glove box, but you can buy a "ash tray housing" that goes where the bag hook is and use it as a makeshift glove comp. That is what I plan on doing as I use my drivers side glove box quite a bit. I'll put up pictures once I Get everything done to show you what i'm talking about. I cant wait to have it all installed and set up,

Ive got the manual f650 dash in my truck with the rocker switches from OTRATTW. Fits great and looks great. also put in 2 isspro gauges down there and my brake controls is mounted under the dash. all in perfect location.

Ill get some picutres up later if wanted.

You interested in selling the dash piece from your 06?
Hey sorry but I've already promised it to someone else. But if for some reason they back out I'll PM ya.

Well my progress has been slow, very slow. But its coming together and i'm liking it more and more each day. :woot: Here's the newest update.

I've got my switches mounted up and my SCT TSX mounted to it as well. I'm going to add another power outlet above my tuner, so I can just keep it plugged in all of the time and not have cords drug all across my dash. :thumb:
I can't wait to have it all done and installed. I hope to be done by the end of the week.:happydance:
