Hi

The shop called and said I need new ball joints on the drivers side and a new tie rod from pit arm to wheel. $505 for parts labor and tax. Does anybody have a good write up or can tell me how difficult it is to replace those yourself? I have a 2WD which makes a difference I guess. Also how long that should about take, I have about a million projects and time is something I don't have. Is $505 a reasonable price?

Any input be great, gotta call the place tomorrow morning.

I don't have a good writeup, but your going to have to rent or buy a ball joint press. Let me see if we have a writup in the tech section for ya:thumb:

Thanks! That was quick. I guess I will just have them do it and make sure they use MOOG parts so I get the good stuff. I would like to do it myself because I don't really trust people working on my Trucks but no time and I need to get my other toys done like put the boat back in water...

Thanks again though!
