So I'm prepping for my headache rack that my buddy's building for me, and I was going to put led lights on the top, the oval ones. I was thinking about buying LED. How bright are white led's as far as backup lights are concerned. Will I get the "midnight sun" effect with them? Is that possible? What do ya'll think?

they are pretty bright, a friend of mine used them on his tilt bed trailer to light up the trailer and surrounding area for loading a vehicle in the dark. He did have round ones however...

I have some oval led backup lights in rear bumper and they put out some light, but for up top on your back rack I dont think they would be worth it. You would have better luck with some nice 3x3 or other size work lights.
