I recently had 4 injectors replaced on the right bank of the engine. Ever since I got it back, I have had a RAW diesel smell coming in from the a/c vents. When I park it, there is absolutley no leaks at all on the concrete, nor do I detect any leaks in the engine bay. What could the deal be?

Maybe there was a small amount of fuel that got in the fresh air vent by the windshield. Mechanics use that area for a tool tray. Aggrivates the hell out of me.

I know I treat diesel like the plague, I make sure I dont even step in it or get it on me anywhere! It's not like gasoline you will smell it days or weeks later if its on the carpet or in you fresh air inlet.

That was one of my thoughts too. I think I am gonna get the pressure washer after that area and see if that helps

Try spraying something to break it down like: super clean/409/ purple clean ect, anything will help diesel is oily and a cleaner will definetly help you there.

I just got done fighting with a couple exhaust leaks and I am very suprised the fuel smell now in the cab. Might crawl up and check never know.

I figured out it was the FPR o-ring that was leaking.
