Race/ Pro street truck - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle...
This is a Pro Street/Super Pro ET Class truck. This truck was shortened to 120" wheelbase and chassis built to run 5 second super pro ET class. The truck is built to run a Cummins 12 valve or 24 valve engine and a 48RE trans with a 271 transfer case.
Custom solid motor mounts, tubular trans mount. Front chassis tubular cross member is removable to aid in chassis engine service and engine removal.
Integrated tubular chassis 4 link with adjustable anti roll bar and fully adjustable coil over shock brackets. HD 1/4" Chrome moly 4 link brackets, 1-1/4" 4 link bars with 3/4" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod ends. HD oversize wish bone axle locator with 7/8" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod end in the center and with 3/4" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod ends at the outer ends. Aluminum 2-1/2" double adjustable coil over shocks with 160# coil over springs.
Rear end is a sterling 10.5" with a 4:10 gear ratio, Fully welded axle tubes, housing braces, new bearings and seals and full synthetic fluid. Brakes are dual piston calipers, drilled and slotted rotors and pads are ceramic extreme.
Front axle is a Dana 60, 35 spline axles with a strange spool, 4:10 gear ratio, new bearings, seals, full synthetic fluid, New ball joints and spicer axle joints.
Front Suspension is a 32" double adjustable ladder bar with chrome moly rod ends. Custom bracketry for 3 point adjustable point of intersection.
HD wishbone axle locator with 7/8" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod end in the center and with 3/4" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod ends on the outer ends. Weld on cross over high steer arms, 1-1/4" tie rod with 7/8"" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod ends, 1-1/4" drag link with 3/4" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod ends. Pit-man arm with 3/4" heat treated chrome moly Kevlar/Teflon coated rod end. Set up for 2-1/2" aluminum double adjustable coil over shocks, fully adjustable ride height. 4 link geometry has been plotted for a multitude of tuning scenarios. Comes with plotting graphs and charts to take out the guesswork of chassis tuning. The charts and graphs give you the center of gravity, point of intersection and anti squat percentage. Every part of the fabrication process building this truck has been done with lasers for precise accuracy.
Interior- Overhead glow shift gauges, Boost, EGT, water temp, Trans temp, Oil pressure, oil temp, Low Fuel Pressure, Common rail fuel pressure. B&M Pro shifter with trans brake and Nitrous buttons..
15 Gallon aluminum fuel cell, 4 driveshaft loops, comes with front and rear driveshafts,
I am looking to run faster in the 4 second Super pro ET class and decided to build a lighter truck. I also did not continue with a roll cage in the event someone does not want a cage. I can install a mild steel or chrome moly cage for an additional cost.
