I'm guessing

I'm guessing that the whole thing is likely moot anyway frm what i was reading just today!

1. The USA is just weeks at best away from total financial collapse.

A Tale of Two Countries: One Survives & One Will Not | Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show
Under the Obama administration, the national debt has doubled as it races by the $17 trillion mark. It would now take a whopping $150,000+ per taxpayer to cover the debt. In a moment the $17 trillion dollar debt will seem like a bargain for what lies ahead.

Under Obama, taxpayers are covering $2 billion dollars per day in jobless benefits and other forms of welfare and that number is escalating dramatically. The Big Three in health care coverage, Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare, are adding $1 trillion dollars per year to the deficit. Social Security is adding $1 trillion dollars per year to the deficit.

It should become clear why Obamacare has a set of eugenics based treatment exclusions which will significantly lower the Social Security deficit due to the planned kill of the elderly in this country.

The elective wars of occupation are costing the country $700 billion per year. And the debt interest is presently at $1 billion dollars per day. Federal pensions are on the verge of breaking the system. The Civil Service Retirement System has once again accounted for the majority of that unfunded liability. The Civil Service Retirement System debt grew from $634 billion dollars in fiscal year,2010 to over $741 billion dollars in fiscal year 2011, according to the Office of Personnel Management’s Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund.

Not to worry, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is robbing Peter to pay Paul as he is raiding Federal retirement programs to cover the failure of not increasing the debt ceiling. Lew announced that the government was taking the unprecedented action of avoiding governmental default through this summer by including tapping into and suspending investments into the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund and halting the daily reinvestment of the government securities (G) fund, the most stable offering in the Thrift Savings Plan‘s portfolio. This is all being done as we continue to fund the bailouts. How much of the bailout money has Goldman Sachs paid back?

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is one of the criminal rat pack that have destroyed this country and now Obama has put him in charge of the Treasury Department. As I previously reported, while Lew was employed at Citigroup, he oversaw 113 tax evading accounts in Cayman Island banks. Based upon Lew’s resume, his proclivity for losing money, (i.e. the hedge funds for Citigroup where he lost almost $600 million dollars), one can only assume that is why Obama has appointed Lew to finish the job which will leave you and I with nothing. In Iceland, they imprisoned their bums. In the corrupt, criminal empire of America, these gangsters get promoted.
Now For the Really Big Numbers

It is a fact that our government’s Social Security liability will soon be as big as the national debt. The present unfunded liability of Social Security is presently $8.6 trillion, but that is deceptive because the shortfall quickly balloons to $20.5 trillion. The unfunded prescription Medicare liability for seniors is $24.8 trillion dollars. Zero Hedge places the Medicare debt at $99 trillion dollars. The unfunded drug liability for seniors is $24.1 trillion dollars.

It is very easy to understand why Lew is going after federal retirements. The Federal Employees Retirement System is reporting a $20.1 billion unfunded liability.

Even more telling is our gross debt to GDP figures. The ratio is a staggering 143%. If you thought that $17 trillion dollars in debt was horrific in 2013, wait until 2015 when the amount is predicted to approach 25 trillion in total US national debt. And the numbers get even more frightening. The total US Unfunded Liabilities are estimated at $144 trillion, roughly $1.2 million per taxpayer.

To summarize, the average net assets for an average U.S. citizen are $300,000. The net liability of the U.S. government, shared among its citizens, amounts to almost four times that amount or about $1.2 million per person. And the government’s debt is growing at $1 million every 45 seconds. To cover its annual deficit, it is printing $1 trillion a year of currency that is not backed by any asset except the Petrodollar and that practice is being threatened by China, Russia and India buying Iranian oil in gold. Coupled with that, former World Bank insider, Karen Hudes, speaks to the fact that the World Bank is jeopardizing the American economy by repeated violations of the law. I will be covering these events and be sharing with the reading public on how the World Bank is threatening to bring down the American economy like a house of cards in the next article in this series.
2. We are apparently about to enter world war 3 commencing in the Middle east (Syria) - so all manufacturing will be conscripted to the war effort for weapons manufacture.

Did Syria Sink an Israeli Submarine? Was the Nuke Attack of May 4/5 Retaliation?

Dolphin Submarine Receiving Nuclear Armaments in Germany

A story out of Syria claiming it sunk a German built nuclear armed submarine operated by the government of Israel has not only been partially confirmed, but that a fully confirmed nuclear attack on Syria is now believed to have been Israeli retaliation for that sinking.

It is reported that the Israeli Dolphin submarine, a German built diesel/electric craft, was attacked and sunk by a Syrian Navy torpedo boat at 2:30 AM, May 2, 2013 while at a depth of 150 meters. Prior to the sinking, a ship operated by Germany’s intelligence services had been in the area.

After the reported, or should we say “unreported” sinking of the Israeli submarine and the equally “unreported” nuclear attack on Syria, a large contingent of Russian naval vessels moved into area.

Evidence is piling up, backing this scenario as one where Russia was forced to use its military capabilities to stabilize the region and defuse a wider conflict.

The video analysis of the nuclear attack, two days after the reported sinking, is conclusive.

Nuclear Attack on Syria 2 - YouTube

What had been in question was the “why?” There was no evidence that Syria had a target that would justify the risk of Israel using a nuclear weapon. Initial assumptions were that Syria may have had an underground nuclear facility but that proved to be groundless.

What drove Israel then?

Now we may well have the answer. The report came from Syrianews. This is the publication that reported the use of chemical weapons by rebel forces on March 19 near Aleppo. They have legitimate sources, certainly more than any mainstream media, and report in a serious and credible manner.

There are also broad confirmations that Israel has lost an F 16 during the conflict.

This would be the second submarine Israel has lost. The former HMS Token, renamed the Dakar by Israel when it was given to them by Britain in 1967 “disappeared” with all hands. There has been broad speculation that the US Navy sunk the Dakar in retaliation for the Israeli attack that killed and wounded over 200 American sailors on the USS Liberty a year before. Israel now openly admits to attacking the Liberty, claiming that the United States was spying for Egypt during the 1967 Six Day War.

Admissions openly made in Israel and taught to school children are carefully expunged from even the history taught at American war colleges.

POOR REPORTING

The media reporting on Syria has been the most abysmal of any conflict in recent years. Typically, unsubstantiated claims serving Israel are reported as fact with no sources whatsoever while video evidence of torture, mutilation and chemical weapon use on behalf of rebel forces is not only not broadcast but not commented on even when such evidence is taken to the UN.

Russian journalists who were on assignment in Syria have handed the United Nation Secretariat videos showing chemical weapons attacks allegedly committed by opposition fighters in the vicinity of Aleppo on March 19. This was confirmed by the spokesman for the Deputy Secretary General Farhan Haq.

He said that the information will be passed along to Oke Selstemu, the head of the group of experts investigating the possible use of weapons of mass destruction in Syria.

In late March, Damascus notified the UN Secretariat of the chemical attacks carried out by armed insurgents.

Thus far, several issues have evaded western censorship:

Syrian rebel forces are accompanied by Israeli artillery spotters and mobile guns.
Groups working with Israel and Turkey are trained by western intelligence agencies and are by US standards classified as an “Al Qaeda affiliate.”
Nuclear weapon use, Israeli losses of a submarine and fighter aircraft are not reported, only Turkish losses (3 F-16s lost during bombing attacks on Syria, also lied about)

Below, the Syrian News report:

Syria news managed to confirm the news we received a couple of days ago that a Syrian Navy boat destroyed an Israeli submarine off the Syrian coast at 150 meters depth on 02 May 2013 around 2 – 2:30 am. We were not told the type or size of the submarine but we were confirmed it was destroyed.

In the details we managed to get: the enemy object was detected and orders were given to one of the nearby boats to destroy it which they did with a torpedo (not told which type), then it was monitored sinking until landing on the seabed off the coast. A heavy movement of Syrian Army helicopters was observed over the site where the submarine was destroyed.

It’s not the first time Syrian Navy engage with enemy and hostile objects. At the very beginning of the Syrian crisis, the Syrian Navy spotted a German navy ship on a reconnaissance mission and harassed it away, a German minister then complained of the Syrian Navy acts claiming the ship was not spying, just listening and collecting information!

Syrian Arab Army

A high number of Israeli spying balloons are seen over the Syrian coast and the Zionists started booby trapping the balloons so they’ll explode when reaching the ground if they’re shot down by the Syrian Army.

Worth noting that Israel with US blessing carried out a raid against a chicken hen and a weapons depot near Damascus on 5th of May 2013, 3 days after this submarine was destroyed. The raid was in coordination with ground terrorists from Nusra Front attacking 19 different SAA checkpoints around the Syrian capital very early in the morning.
And just to add insult to injury...

Obama Asks Pentagon For Syria No-Fly Zone Plan - The Daily Beast

Exclusive: Obama Asks Pentagon for Syria No-Fly Zone Plan

Pentagon spokesman Dave Lapan sent the following statement to The Daily Beast after this story posted: “There is no new planning effort underway. The Joint Staff, along with the relevant combatant commanders, continue to conduct prudent planning for a range of possible military options.”
Along with no-fly zone plans, the White House is considering arming parts of the Syrian opposition and formally recognizing the Syrian opposition council, reports Josh Rogin.

The White House has asked the Pentagon to draw up plans for a no-fly zone inside Syria that would be enforced by the U.S. and other countries such as France and Great Britain, two administration officials told The Daily Beast.

I spent half of 11 and half of 12' in AU. Good times good people.
Enjoyed the mix of different vehicles. Sounds a bit presumptuous of Ford
to say " I think we'll shut her down in 3 years". Really? How on earth can management presume to know what the economy holds for 3 years time?
I bet Holden stock will shoot up and there business will improve in the long run.

Our Dollar

Our Dollar has plunged since the Ford announcement - making our labor cheaper in world terms (relatively) and our products 'more affordable' as exports to other country's with the better exchange rate.

No news from Ford about changing their decision, to cease manufacturing here.

Not bad enough we subsidize the heck out of GM and Ford with Taxpayer dollars - here in this country, (Yes I am aware Ford US were the ONLY auto manufacturer NOT to take a bail out from the US Govt and good on them for it) but it seems that all of the conditions they were moaning about in deciding to close down have altered but their decision to keep our citizens employed hasn't.

Maybe its time we re assessed out military commitment to ally with the USA if she no longer has our Aussie citizens best interests at heart.

Let the Koreans, Japanese & Chinese have the entire auto industry....

Just another nail in the coffin of our once great country's. :(

Once upon a time we feared the Russians during the cold war - attempting to destroy our capitalist western country's, now our biggest threats come from our own manufacturers within.

Screw them and their products & their shareholder profits dividends, and big fat CEO salary's.

A Pox on all their houses I say.

Viva the revolution comrades.... seems the Reds are now out from under their beds and running our auto manufacturers - the Russians won after all - imagine that!

I wish someone would send the village idiot back to his mud hut in Kenya where he belongs. :hehe:

Cheers
