i am working on a 97 ford e350 van with a 7.3 ..we change the oil cooler ..but we have the same problem..the engine was never overheating ..we did the water pump a few monnths ago ..so i dont think it would be blown head gasket...

Unfortuanately, the first thing that comes to my mind is Cavitation. (which I truly hope it isn't) It could be a blown gasket, or something of that nature. (which is bad, but repairable)

thanks for writing back i know that it wasnt running hot..and it is not building any kind of pressure on the radiator .i think it could be crack between water pump and timing cover because in a little bit it pumps quite a bit of oil into the radiator..any other suggestion would be great..

thanks

what about the transmission cooler that runs throught the rad? That could be leaking. is there any coolant on the trans dip stick?
I deleted my trans cooler in the rad for this reason i have seen a few horrorible things go wrong with them like killing trannys and destroying motors.
