So I recently upgraded to a 6.7. My previous truck ran on gas and I had a transferflow 40gal in bed aux tank. I pulled the tank when I traded it in and have since installed it in the bed of the new truck. I pumped all the gas out, added 5 gal. of diesel, drove around for a few days and pumped that fuel out for disposal. Here’s the question-

Do y’all think I would be good to go pumping new diesel from the tank to the truck? Or is there more I should do converting the tank from gas to diesel?

Thanks in advance!

you will be perfectly fine. A little bit of gasoline will do no harm except clean out your fuel system a little.

i think you will be fine as well. in the old days you could pour 20% gas in a diesel to keep it from gelling. might not want to do that with these new trucks but at this point you have very little gas in there. just make sure your first tank you fill it right to the brim to dilute it as much as possible.
