I have an Early 99 F550 that needs a new engine. Is there any major differences preventing me from installing a late 99 or newer 7.3?

Thanks!

Youll need to change out the PCM also, but there really isnt that much of a difference in motors, but like rediculously necessary is asking, youll need a true long block, cause the E99 turbo, injectors, hpop, and up-pipes are different and wont work on a later models. Isnt the IDM different to? Like lower voltage i cant remember that one.

IDM may be different but will work. in either case its better to have the higher voltage IDM.

The motor is complete, but I will have to see if it comes with the pcm. It's not just a long block. So I guess the real question is will all the connections fit? And will there be any issues I need to be concerned with.
