im gettting ready to add dual 7 inch stacks, but due to the bed i have the only spot to run them is next to my 100 gallon fuel cell. So my question is; is that a stupid idea to have something that hot next to something that com bust when hot enought? and can i use the heat shield tape to keep my fuel cell from heating up so hot?
thanks

I wouldn't do it. I have a tank and I didn't do it for that reason. It probably wouldn't combust, but you wanna risk it?

nothing might ever happen but if someone sees that it may raise an eyebrow. I wouldn't do it, stacks aren't that cool anyways

Its not really the tank I would worry about......its the spillage that goes right along with the tank.
On OTR trucks lots of times the exhaust runs right beside the fuel tanks.
