is there enough room to get the pyrometer installed on the passenger side manifold and is the lead long enough to get over to the left side of the steering wheel on a edge insight cts probe?

Just depends on how you route it...

I installed mine (Edge part # 98600) in the drivers side manifold, gave it a decent bend radius (6") off the probe into a factory bundle, routed it through the existing firewall holes left of the brake pedal, routed and tied it under the dash, and had about a foot to spare.

Best thing is to not drill the manifold, but just hang the probe next to it (leaving a few inches for slack) and just route it in to see if it makes it.

If you don't mind my asking... Why not just install it in the drivers-side manifold like everyone else?

The drivers side is the hotter side. That's where you should mount the probe.
