This is my first truck and I really like it so far but I want to give it little bit more aggressive look nothing too extreme and definitely want to level the front end out. I like the way it drives right now and want to retain the way it drives and the current off-road capabilities. I am trying to stay on a pretty strict budget because I'm still in college but would rather not put anything on that will affect the reliability. Here is what I am thinking about doing I've got a lot of questions. And I've got two different options one small and on smaller. I would like the front to sit maybe .5" taller than the back I like that look

Option One

1)TopGunzCustom 4" Coil Springs

2)Replace F-250 Block with F-350 rear block

3) New Springs Don't know what brand yet

4)Dual Steering Stabilizer Don't know what brand yet

Want to run 35's or 37's with this set up.
Would this work if I got the trac bar adjusted??? I am new to this I just thought this sounded like a solid setup but would I need to do a radius arm drop or anything like that or would it work with just the stuff above???


Option Two

1) Topguncustomz 2.5" Coil Springs and Cam adjustments

2) New shocks

3) Dual Steering Stabilizer

Nothing for the rear I'd like to run 35's for this setup?

Does anybody have any input about these? I'd really like to know if it would work I'm about to call some off-road shops but I'd really like to install it myself if this stuff would work. I have friends that have put on lift kits before.

Better add a adj track bar and longer shocks..

A complete kit would be a better choice as everything is designed to work together and its complete will all the required parts.

I read somewhere that every 2" of lift causes the axle to shift I think 3/4"??? So will every leveling kit that does not adjust the track bar or have radius arm relocation brackets or something equivalent bad to use?

That the aprox amount the axle will shift.

Bad to use...thats something only you can deside all I know is I won't sell, install or use a incomplete kit..don't need the $$ that bad.

Even the Icon which is supposed to be a good brand only has the cams for adjustment. I just don't understand why most leveling kits don't have something to remedy this problem???

Would you just be able to buy an adjustable track bar and it be correct?

Icon recommends a adj track bar but doesn't include it so they can meet a price point.
Pure performance has a kit that will solve the problem as it comes with 4 link arms that allow additional castor..we sell both.

Adding a adj track bar will recenter the axle...only.

I checked out Pure's website and I wouldn't mind something like the Stock Mod system (it's the one with coils and an adjustable track bar) if I could get it for a good price. I would see if they could leave out the rear blocks and U-bolts for a little bit less because I like the way the front looks when its higher than the back. Do you think they would do that? Would the adjustable track bar make everything "right" on the front end. Then all I would need to add is shocks and stabilizers

I just read where they recommended alignment cams or adjustable ball joints for this kit I guess that's the answer. I'm just worried I won't even be able to tell I did anything to it with this setup and might as well go on up to the 4" kit.

Unless you use their 4 link kit you must use castor shims.

The prices on the 2.5" 4 link or the 4" 4 link kit is the same..and yes we can customize any of the lift kits we sell. I can also get the Pure kits in Black or Silver..

For the people that have done a 2.5" level. Would you do it again or just go on up to the 4" kit??? Were you really able to tell the truck even had anything done to it with just the level?

Also I know they wouldn't be as ideal but will the adjustment cams work okay without too much additional maintenance I'm not really sure about that idea but wouldn't mind it?
