Driving in the Mtns today when I stoped for fuel I took a look under the hood and its been puking some.

When I left home I had no known egr issues. Hg and deltas are both good.

Coolant level when cold is right at the old minimum mark..

Elevation is around 6500ft

Most boost I've seen is 16psi w deltas 16* at highest.

Highest ect was 203

I'm using an insight.


Think my bottles just a little overfilled....or will the higher elevation play into factor?

I can tell you from being in your situation you are fine.
I have a cabin at just above 5000 feet and everytime I go up there my coolant recovery bottle is full to the top and the hoses are tight as a tick. Myself when I get there I just open the coolant cap real slow and vent off the pressure. Once I do that the water level drops in the coolant tank and hoses get soft again. Odds are you had too much coolant in there and it got pressed out from the climb.
Take a look at the bag of potato chips you hauled up with you, it's inflated the same as the cooling system. Run your coolant level down lower and it won't happen again.
