Hey guys I have a question;

Just had a Sinister EGR delete installed on my truck, picked it up Friday then on a 2hr road trip Saturday it puked??? Not towing anything, cruising 75-80 on interstate. I had already replaced the degas bottle cap before the EGR delete, and the coolant level was filled to proper level. I will obviously be taking it back to the shop but do have any idea as what could be causing this???

Thanks for your help!

Did the mechanic scan the truck to check for a bad oil cooler or just try and cover up the problem with a EGR delete?

What do you mean by scan? Check for codes? I have never seen a CEL, I also checked using the SCT.

The mechanic said he did an exhaust test and determined the egr cooler was leaking..

Thanks for the help!

You need to see what your oil and coolant temps are. If your oil cooler is plugged it will cause high oil temps and can cause your truck to puke.
