Are there any good projector headlights out there for an 08 F250? I've heard to stay away from them, but the ones on my mothers Lexus and her Lotus are bright as hell!!!

I bought aftermarket ones, spyder brand. Got hid kit yesterday just have to install.
But you don't have halo's then. And that's the reason I was looking at the projector headlights. Can't you just change the lenses out for better ones? Or is that not the problem?

Clayton I'm interested to see how the light output is. Are the projectors on the inside of the light or on the backside and can be removed Easily?
Either way, if your not happy- open em up and stuff a better projector in there! I just admit, I was pretty intimidated when I first started my retrofit, but as I got closer to the end and started testing at night I knew I was making it happen! And it wasnt that hard, just time consuming.

It's the projectors, their halogen projectors, not intended for HID's. There's halogen projectors and hid projectors. Read my thread for more info an good sources on this whole Subject

I havent had a chance to get any night pics, ill go get a couple now with phone but the car is right in front etc so wont be the best.

Once I see how the HIDs are I may or may not swap projectors.

Eforkist: Check MTS's thread, he did an amazing job on his lights! I cheaped out and bought some..lol
Regarding the projectors im not 100% sure on the removability.

answer to the question about removal, its possible. I have spyder projectors with hids replacing the halogen ones and the light output is disappointing for the money spent, best option is to swap for a better projector like mts678, he really did do the right thing.
Thanks for the link!
BTW, you can order new projectors from TRS and get the panamera shrouds which are made to accomodate angel eyes, like I did. I haven't received my merchandise yet, but hopefully I will within the next day or two and I may have some photos for you guys by the end of the week.

Cary does this mod also. I'd prefer to have someone with experience do mine because if I did the mod I doubt if I could get them pointing exactly right.

I ordered the same Ebay lights as clayton and put the hid kit in them, very dissapointed, the factory fog lights are much brighter. I will be splitting them open and retro fitting some real HID projectors.
I havent put in my HIDs yet, sounds like I shouldnt waste my time! I really like the look of these lights tho.
I wouldn't man, if you like the looks of them then I'd just order the fxr projectors and retro fit them into those headlights. Then you'd have the look you like with badass TRUE Hid light performance.
I think you are right, Ill have to go that route.....Right after I finish my audio build.
Hey, what Focals do you have? I ordered the krx2 the other day, as well as a set of hertz 165 hsk.
Man I can't even remember. All those sub model numbers run together after you compare them to 60 other speakers lol. I know they were the better model speakers tho. And they have the tweeter in the speaker that pivots.
Yeah tell me about it!!! lol, ive been on audio forums and ebay for a few days non stop now, my head hurts!!
