:dunno:If anyone can point me in the right direction or in the exact direction I would really appreciate it!!!!

My truck is a 2006 6.0 totally stock with 36,000 miles...

My truck has a very heavy throttle hesitation. This happens pretty regularly in two instances. The truck must be at regular operating temp. Driving on a flat road under light throttle and then getting into the throttle the truck does not respond. In some cases the pedal will be to the floor for a second before it all of the sudden takes off.

Also, coming from a stop light and getting into the throttle the truck hesitates. Only now since I am at a stop, once the hesitation stops and the turbo spools up real fast it almost (and has once in a busy intersection) completely breaks loose because i have it almost to the floor before it responds.

Any ideas or similar stories and fixes?? Thanks a lot in advance for the help!!:dunno:

Mine has done the same thing twice, both when Im at a stop light, casually press the gas, and it holds, and then grabs gear and goes. Sounds like maybe the same prob you have. My truck is at the dealership now, and I told them about it, and the fact that it double shifts 3rd and 4th. Ill let u know if they find anything.

Your mpg's do seem fairly low though. Every truck is different, but i figured youd be at atleast 15, although yours is stock, maybe thats why, who knows!

Thanks for the input keep me posted! Any more ideas are appreciated too! It feels in a way like the throttle is completely disconnected then it revs the turbo spools and takes right off. Seems like an electrical type issue to me but maybe turbo itself?

Personally I think it's a solenoid in the trans that could be going bad, or is bad. I'll let you know what they say.
