Is there a difference? It is available at the pump at Kwik Trip. There is a $.04 difference in price per gallon that seems to be the only "visible" difference. Any of you guys seen this before?

Actually, I have noticed that too. Well, I don't watch mpgs, but my cold starts are better and I feel like throttle response is tiny bit better.

Higher centane number explains both.

Mine starts nearly instantly with the gold plus and rev x fuel additive.

Damn thing barely makes a full revolution before it fires

I was reading somewhere about this and according to the magazine the regular has a 45 cetane rating opposed to 50 like the other article said. And the premium stuff is all they have over in Europe, it doesn't apply to us but I thought it was interesting.

Europe has a 50 cetane minimum rating on their diesel fuel. Wish our govt would do that. But theyre stuck on a 40 cetane min with a bio blend mandate

Adam Dave's truck is done lol. We have premium ULSD here there is a BP distribution center here in town that I could fill up at. It's not much more expensive than normal as a matter of fact IIRC last time I drove by it was the same price as Speedway's regular ULSD.

Is there a way to find out if a local station carries it? Other than driving around. Is there just a sticker on the pump to id it or something bolder?
