Gonna throw a bone here. I plan to be in attendance at the lake this summer and we could make a g2g out of that. A camping g2g mind you, not much tollerance for loud diesels and burnouts at the campcrounds i have been too...but beer drinkning and cookin on the grill with good company is allowed and it don't get much better than that.
Thunderbird lake is a prime spot for us to hit on short notice or whatever.
So if you have a camper, tent or boat and want to get together, lets talk.
Eufalla is also a favorite of mine.

Depending on the weather and the building project, i may try to plan something in the next couple weeks. On a Friday afternoon thru Sun. Afternoon.
Usually when i decide i can go, its only a few days - a week advance notice.
As the building projects comes along, i have a few things i am going to have to get done, like sod and a little more dirt work but i can't do all that till the contractor is done so...
Its still too cool for playing in the water so the wife isn't all gung ho about camping just yet but i am.
You got a camper or boat?

Sure, that's only about 3.5 hours away. I have been wanting to take my wife and kids up there to see where I spent time in the summers and to see my grandma's old house. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I am getting ready to start a ton of overtime so we might have to come up on Sunday (the one day I try not to work), but it would still be nice to see y'all.

If some of the Texas guys are interested, maybe a trip to Texoma wouldn't be a bad idea
Definately, we did Texoma last summer about 4-5 different times. I have some friends down there that have a lake house and we parked our camper there. Of course we would need to get a campground if we did a get together. I liked going to Texoma over a longer weekend, like 3 days.

That would be kool!
How far are you from Texoma? Kingston, OK to be more exact.
