I have an SCT with Cales 140 EXTREME tune and Eric's X-Street. LOVE them. The truck is an 05 CCSB with a cat back 4" and it will FLY. In drive, with x-street, it will break traction pulling out easy, and chirp with 1-2 and 2-3 shift.

i got erics tow, xtreme street 120hp, and xtreme race 150hp. i loveeeeee it. its so amazing. i had an edge attitude with hot unlock lvl 6 and it was junking my tranny. it wouldnt shift right and was about to rip the tranny out. i took my edge off and put the sct on and ive had it all summer and it fixed my transmission perfectly. in race itll chirp the tires everytime it shifts(and im running 35" mudterrains) the tow tunes amazing and the street gets 20+ mpg. its so fast and pulls 7 ton with no problem. hope u convince them its worth it

tunner mpg BS?

I have had 2 fords with the 6.0 and one with a 7.3 and I had PP's with all of them. The shifting was good and the improvement in torque and performance was good, but I never saw any thing close to 20mpg that I here so many diesel guys talk about. Running empty with 3.73 gears on my 2005 CC I get 14-15mpg and towing my 5th wheel that weighs 9000lbs I get 10-11mpg.

mileage on a diesel is more about driving style , terrain , tires , gear etc , for the most mileage , minimize drag and weight and keep the RPMs low on highway driving , this means no 75 plus MPH driving ......

PP stands for power programmer. I drive my diesel pretty easy I don't abuse it. I love the power when towing my 5th wheel. I have stock tires and to this point I do not have any mods on this truck because I just bought it. It is a 2005 F350 CC FX4 with 28,000 miles with the auto-trans and 3.73 gears and in excellent shape. I have been reading about the SCT programmers and I am thinking about trying one. I have had a Hypertech and a predator programmers in the past.
