I tried to get it all in the subject line there - I'd like to put a plow on my truck but was discouraged by the BOSS site saying
Rectangle Font Magenta Parallel Circle

Is there any real world info on this? I assume it's because the engine is heavier. I don't want to get into a dangerous situation, but I want to do some plowing this winter without buying a different truck. I imagine the manual trans, SRW, 4x4, and supercab/longbed combo are positive factors in the equation.

The no plow recommendation is due to the weight of the diesel. Front axle would be over weight.

decide what you want and get it installed. It will push like a freight train.
