I'm just curious if a metal pan will simply bolt right up with a rubber gasket when replacing the plastic pan? Just bought a 2011 F350 and i gotta say that plastic plug freaks me out bad lol.

Yes it will. There are several venders out there that make a metal replacement plan with the drain plug relocated straight down. Some vendors have a finned plan for extra cooling, others just have a simple plain metal one. All the ones I've seen come with everything you need.

Further note on this the new metal pan will need new bolts which you won't find lol. The bolts you'll need are M6-1.00 x 18mm , but you likely will only find 16mm or 20mm. I went with the 16mm just to be safe and not come through up top or hit. Fastenal has the flanged head ss bolts but you will likely havbe to order them otherwise Menards/ hardware store will have hex head ones but usually not enough you need 15.
