We have a 2004 X Limited. Can somebody please tell me

1...where is the parking aid module located, &

2...the part number for said module.

Our backup sensor was working just fine a few days ago...and now the button on the dash lights up "off" as soon as the X is put in reverse. I hooked my AE up, and it tells me it can not communicate with the parking assist module.

I finally found the part number for the parking assist module in case anybody in the future needs it.

Still haven't had the time to track down its location yet.

Where is this module located on the truck, mine have been doing this for ages, couldn't figure out the problem. And could anybody please post a site where u can order one from?

Subscribed as mine has been dead for a couple years.

most often the problem is a loose connection or water in the connection under the bumper. Trace the wires from each of the 4 connectors and make sure they have a good solid connection.

One of mine has a hairline crack which occasionally get water in it. not worth it to me to repair as I have a b/u camera.
